Cherry Blossoms in D.C.
As natives of Northern Virginia we know to avoid DC like the plague come cherry blossom time. But this year, like so many other fools, we did the unthinkable - we ventured into DC. We thought going before the peak and on a weekday might mean fewer crowds but we still had to circle and wait for parking. Still, it was a pleasant outing. It's something I've always wanted to do and I was hoping for some family pictures. AJ was a little grumpy so we mostly tried to enjoy a family stroll with intermittent picture-taking. I can only imagine how much more glorious the environs will be in the coming days.
