Neighborhood Waterfowl

When we moved into our new townhouse this past August one of the features we were most excited about was the back view of a stormwater management pond.  We've spotted the ubiquitous Canada goose or rather, a gaggle of Canada geese, a blue heron, a white heron, a cormorant, mallard ducks, and in the past couple of days, a few hooded mergansers.  We're positively tickled to be able to bird-watch right from our deck.

Dinosaur Land

Evan and I went to Dinosaur Land when we were either dating, newly engaged, or newly married.  I can't remember exactly but it was early on in our relationship history.  Its a fun, kitschy place and we enjoyed taking dorky pictures there years ago.

Today was another beautiful albeit chilly fall day so we thought we'd introduce our progeny to the silliness that is Dinosaur Land.  AJ gave air kisses to about half of the fiberglass creatures and cried/recoiled at the other half.
